1. Who operates ReliableArt
ReliableArt is operated by Jüri Randla (“ReliableArt”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). You can contact us about this policy or your personal information at info@reliableart.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you choose to give us
- Newsletter signup: your email address and the selected city preference, and the record of your request to receive the ReliableArt Weekend Edit.
- Gallery submissions: the name, email address, role, gallery details, website links, and message you provide so that we can review the submission.
- Messages to us: the information included in your email or correction request.
Preferences saved only on your device
If you use “Personalize this device”, a nickname, art interests, and weekend preference are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to ReliableArt and can be cleared from the personalization page or by clearing your browser data.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, and security logs, when you visit the website. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot ReliableArt.
If you allow optional analytics and marketing tracking, Google Analytics and Meta may also process online identifiers, browser and device information, pages viewed, and the privacy-safe actions you take on ReliableArt. We do not send newsletter email addresses, gallery-submission details, or other form contents to these tools.
3. How we use information
- to operate and improve ReliableArt;
- to review, verify, and respond to gallery submissions;
- to send the Weekend Edit when you choose to subscribe;
- to respond to questions, correction requests, and rights notices;
- to prevent spam, misuse, fraud, and security incidents; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
Where data-protection law applies, we rely on your consent for newsletter communications, on steps taken at your request to review a submission, and on our legitimate interests in operating a safe, useful, and reliable directory. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time.
4. How information is stored and shared
ReliableArt uses service providers to host the website and operate its database. When public forms are enabled, newsletter requests and gallery submissions are stored in Supabase, our database provider. When newsletter delivery is enabled, consenting newsletter contacts are also processed by Resend, our email delivery provider. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own contractual and security obligations.
We do not sell personal information. If you choose to allow marketing tracking, Meta may process visit and event data to measure advertising and help us show relevant ReliableArt ads on Meta products. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer, if ReliableArt is ever sold or reorganized.
Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
5. Cookies and local storage
We ask before loading optional Google Analytics and Meta Pixel tracking. These services may use cookies or similar technology to measure visits, advertising performance, and site actions. If you reject optional tracking, ReliableArt remains available. We use browser local storage to remember that choice and, when you choose it, to save local personalization preferences. Essential security technology may be used by our hosting providers to keep the website available and secure.
6. How long we keep information
We keep newsletter information until you unsubscribe, after which we may retain a minimal record needed to honour the request and meet legal obligations. We keep gallery submissions and correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to review the request, maintain an accurate directory, resolve a dispute, or meet legal obligations. Device-local preferences remain in your browser until you clear them.
7. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the Weekend Edit at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of the use of your personal information. To make a request, email info@reliableart.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Children
ReliableArt is not designed for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ReliableArt develops. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
